Simone Gambuto participated as a speaker at the conference “Private Enforcement: la consulenza tecnica d’ufficio”, organized by the Italian Antitrust Association. His presentation emphasized the importance of establishing an effective rights protection system within the Italian legal framework to promote private antitrust enforcement. Drawing on the social function of competition law, he explored the practices of other European jurisdictions that, aiming to maximize the practical impact of EU law, have developed shared case law on issues such as pass-on, presumptions, and the aggregation of damages claims.
